Grandpa Logan

My Grandpa Logan passed away on Thursday. I thought this was a great tribute to him.

Robert Emmett Logan, 86, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2012 in Buffalo, Wyoming. Bob was born on March 24, 1925 in Beaudette, Minnesota, to William Joseph and Mabel Josephine Logan. He married Betty Dawn Ell, his high school sweetheart, on December 12, 1947, in Ortonville, Minnesota. They are the parents of five children.
Bob was the oldest of six children and grew up working on the family farm in Ortonville. He graduated from Ortonville High School in 1943. After marriage, Bob and Betty continued to farm in Minnesota for several years until moving to Casper, Wyoming in 1952 with their son and two daughters. Bob began working as a paleontologist for Shell Oil Company in Casper, when he was transferred to Salt Lake City, Utah shortly after his third daughter was born in 1953. After 12 years in Salt Lake, Bob was transferred to Farmington, New Mexico, where his second son was born. In 1966 Bob left Shell Oil and moved the family to Jackson, Wyoming, where he purchased an Enco dealership. He sold the business three years later and moved his family to their final home in Buffalo, Wyoming. Bob and Betty were hired by Reynolds Aluminum, where Bob managed all operations at the Lake DeSmet Lodge and Marina. When Texaco bought out Reynolds, Bob stayed on as part of the maintenance staff, where he worked until he retired in 1984. In his many happy years of retirement he stayed busy gardening, repairing furniture, and helping out at Ron’s Plumbing, which Bob always said was the best job he ever had. Bob was known for his quick wit, lively sense of humor, and mischievous grin.
Bob Logan is survived by his wife of 64 years; his daughters LeeAnn (Dennis) Moser of Cedar City, Utah, and Laurie Logan and Lynn (Tim) O’Gan of Buffalo; his son Michael (Charity) Logan of Eureka, California; his sister Betty (Jerry) Miksche of Ripon, California; his brother Bill Logan of! Story; and his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son John Logan, and his sisters Shirley Evers, Donna Stine, and Vera Tice.

We love you so much Grandpa! You will be greatly missed!!

It's a Girl!!!

We had our first ultrasound a couple of weeks before Christmas. I was convinced that we would be having a boy, but the ultrasound tech told us that we are going to have a baby girl! Curt and I were so excited!! We kept it a secret for just about a week and then we told everyone while we were together in Salt Lake. We went to Salt Lake with some of both mine and Curt's families to go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. I made chocolate cupcakes with pink cream cheese filling in the middle. We had everyone eat a cupcake to find out what we were having. I am so mad that I didn't take any pictures. Andrew and Dallin are so excited to have a baby sister. She will be joining our family in the middle of May.

Andrew Lost a Tooth!!

I had to document this memorable day! On November 6, 2011 Andrew lost his first tooth. He was pretty nervous about letting Mom pull it, but once I did he was really excited. The tooth fairy brought him two $2.00 bills. Andrew thought that was pretty neat!!

Disneyland 2011

This October we went to Disneyland with Billy, Shelly, Samantha, Malia and Mom. We had such a fun time! We spent three days at Disneyland and a day at the beach. We stayed at the Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel. It was nice being so close to the parks and it also came with a lot of perks. One of the highlights of our trip was our dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. We got to interact with a lot of different characters and the food was Yummy! We had such a good time!!

Soccer

A Trip to Remember.........

I have set a goal of catching up my scrapbooking and blog. Since I am WAY behind on my scrapbooking it sounds much easier to start with the blog! For Labor Day we went camping up Cedar Canyon with Mom and Dad.

Camping is one of our favorite things to do together as a family, but this trip ended up not so great. On Sunday we loaded up in Curt's truck and went for a drive to explore the area. Our puppy Polly had been in the truck for quite awhile and so we decided to let her get out and run.....not such a good idea. She ran under our truck and we ran her over. After an expensive trip to the emergency vet we found out that she had broken her pelvis. It was a sad day for all of us. It took a lot of TLC to get her back to normal, but now she is doing great. That gave us all quite a scare!!

KINDERGARTEN

Today was Andrew's first day of Kindergarten. He is going to George Washington Academy,which starts at 8:15 and gets out at 2:50. I have been so worried about how he will handle a full day and also about how Dallin will do without his brother at daycare. Needless to say I have been a nervous wreck!! Andrew is so excited to start Kindergarten and he has been anxiously waiting to start for the last month. He was so full of excitement until we walked into the door. He sat at his desk, looked up at me and said, "Mom, I am really nervous." I reassured him, kissed him goodbye, walked out the door and started crying!! Where did the time go? It doesn't seem like he should be in Kindergarten. Well, now we start another chapter in our lives. I hope Andrew loves his first year at School, and I hope Dallin can survive daycare without his brother!!

We just got back from a vacation to San Diego. We stayed in a really nice hotel that was right on the bay. The boys loved looking at all of the boats in the marina.

The first day we were there we went to the USS Midway Museum. It is a retired aircraft carrier that they have turned into a museum. This was the highight of the trip for Andrew. He loved looking at all of the jets and exploring the ship.

We spent a day at the San Diego Zoo. The kids loved looking at all of the animals.

We were able to go see the San Diego Temple...Beautiful!!

This is a really long post, but I still have a lot of pictures. I am going to take the night off and finish tomorrow!!

Summer Fun 2011

The kids and I spent a few days in Las Vegas with Mom, Shelly, Sam and Malia. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay and the kids had so much fun playing in the swimming pool. They especially liked floating around the lazy river. It was nice to get away and spend time with family. We had a great time!!

Andrew took swimming lessons this summer and he did a great job. He loves the water and is now able to swim on his own!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything, so I am going to try and catch up. The last time I posted was back in April and so I am going to pick it up from there! One of our favorite things to do with our family is camping and we went on a couple of fun trips this Spring. For Easter weekend we went camping at Cathedral Gorge. Here are some pictures of our Easter egg hunt.

We had a lot of fun hiking and exploring all the caves.

We always have such yummy food when Dad comes along.

Dallin turned two years old April 9th. We had a wonderful day celebrating his Birthday with our family. Dallin had a great time and got a lot of fun presents. We are so blessed to have Dallin in our family. He has such a sweet personality and is so much fun! Happy Birthday to our little boy!

Good Times

We have been really busy lately, but it has been a lot of fun. We were able to go to Brianhead with Grandpa Dennis and Samantha. Andrew took a ski lesson from Samantha's friend Derek and he loved it! He did a really good job and we all had a great time!

Curt, Andrew and I went to the Monster Jam Finals in Las Vegas. Andrew loved watching all of the big trucks. This year we went to the pit party and so we got to see the trucks up close. We had a fun weekend in Vegas. Dallin stayed in St. George with Grandma LeeAnn and had a great time.

Andrew turned 5 years old today! We had a pirate party for him on Saturday with some of his friends and family. We went to Pirate Island Pizza and then came home for games, presents, ice cream and cake! Andrew was so excited and had a great time! Happy Birthday Andrew- We love you!! Andrew is now 4 years old and he is so much fun! He likes to help Mommy in the kitchen and work with Daddy in the garage. He loves Preschool this year and is learning so much. He has a very caring personality and he is always looking after his little brother.

Dallin is now 18 months and I cannot believe how big he is getting. He loves to cuddle and he has a very sweet personality. He is saying a few words and is always smiling. He loves to play with Andrew and will follow him all over the house. We are so blessed to have our two handsome boys!

Disneyland 2010

Curt recently got a new job and we are so excited for him. He is going to be doing HVAC for the city of St. George. He had a week off in between jobs and so we decided to take the kids to Disneyland. Andrew was excited because he was tall enough this year to go on all of the big rides. We had a great time!

While we were in California we spent a day at the Beach. Andrew loved playing in the Ocean and Dallin loved playing in the sand. It was a fun day.

Andrew is growing up so fast! He started soccer this past month and he loves it! We enjoy going to his games every Saturday.

Caribbean Cruise

In July we went on a cruise to the Caribbean with Mom and Dad. Our first stop was Princess Cays, which is an island in the Bahamas. We had a great time snorkeling and touring the island.

Our second stop was in Ochos Rios, Jamaica. Here we took a tour of the city and hiked the Dunn River Falls.

Our next stop was in Grand Cayman, which is part of the Cayman Islands. We took a tour on a glass bottom boat and then enjoyed some more snorkeling.

Our last stop was in Cozumel, Mexico where we got to tour the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. This was very interesting and also a beautiful place to see.

As always we had a great time enjoying the food, getting all dressed up, relaxing and just spending time together.

This was such a fun vacation! The boys stayed in Cedar City with Billy, Shelly, Sam and Malia. They had a fun time- Thanks so much guys!!

It has been awhile since I have blogged, and so I am going to try to catch up. This has been a very fun and busy summer. We have gone camping a few times, which the boys absolutely LOVE! We have been camping at Kershaw Ryan, Enterprise Reservior, Whitney Pockets, and Curt and Andrew went on Father and Son's to Mountain Meadow. Of course I have forgotten my camera every time we have gone! We have only managed to get in one boating trip this summer, but hopefully now that it is cooling down we can spend some time on the lakes around here.

Grandpa Henrie passed away on June 9th in Panguitch. We are grateful for the opportunity to have such a wonderful Grandpa. We have so many great memories of him that will be with us always, and are looking forward to being with him and Grandma again.

Malia came and stayed with us for a couple of days this summer and we loved spending time with her. She is such a cutie and so mellow compared to my boys!!

We've had such a fun summer already this year. We have been camping at Kershaw Ryan, Enterprise Reservior, Whitney Pockets, and Curt and Andrew went on Father and Son's to Mountain Meadow. We LOVE to camp and hope to get some more trips in this year.

The boys love to play at the park and go on picnics.

We went to a Monster Truck show in Hurricane. Andrew loved it!!

Andrew and Dallin are best buddies and love to play together. They love to play outside!!

We went to Zion's last weekend for hiking and a picnic. We had a great time!

Samantha came and stayed with us this week. She took Andrew to Toy Story 3 in 3D. While Sammy was here we went swimming at the Community Center with Grandma LeeAnn, Shelly and Malia. The boys love their Aunt Sammy!

Dallin is walking! YAY! We are leaving on a vacation in exactly one week and I was sure he was going to start walking while we were gone. We went over to Billy and Shelly's on Sunday for Father's Day and Malia was walking all over the place. After watching her and trying to keep up Dallin decided it was time for him to walk. He started walking the next day and has not stopped since! The very first time he walked was all the way across the living room to his big brother Andrew. Boy was Andrew proud! Dallin loves to roam all over the house and we love to watch him. I will post pics soon.........

Race Day!

We had a great time today participating in the Run 4 Kids. Curt and Andrew ran a 1K and did a great job. Andrew got a medal and really had a good time.

After I watched Curt and Andrew run their race I ran in a 5K. I was really nervous being that this was my first race, but I did much better than I thought I would. The boys were standing at the finish line cheering me on!

Afterwards they served us refreshments and we enjoyed the beautiful St. George morning!

Today is Dallin's 1st Birthday and I can't believe it! We had a rough pregnancy with him and I remember how thankful I was when I saw that 6 lb 13 oz healthy baby boy. It seems like it was just yesterday yet I cannot imagine life without Dallin. He has such a sweet personality and is so much fun for all of us. Andrew has just loved having a little brother and has had an instant bond with Dallin since the day he was born. We are so thankful for our sweet baby boy. Happy Birthday Dal - WE LOVE YOU!

Easter Weekend

We went camping at Whitney Pockets over Easter Weekend. We had a lot of fun enjoying the outdoors. The boys had a great time coloring Easter eggs and playing in the dirt!

Andrew had so much fun riding the 4-wheeler with his Daddy.

One of my favorite things about camping is all of the good food! Even Dallin enjoyed the yummy ribs!

We had fun exploring the area and shooting Easter eggs.

The Easter Bunny found us and the boys were so excited. Andrew had a great time searching for Easter eggs and Dallin loved playing with his Easter basket!

Las Vegas Fun!!

For Andrew's Birthday this year we got him tickets to the Monster Truck Jam in Las Vegas! Dallin stayed in Cedar City with Aunt Shelly and Andrew had a fun weekend with just Mom & Dad. We went to the MGM and saw the Lions and then ate at the Rainforest Cafe.

Andrew had lots of fun at M&M World!

After that we headed over to the Excalibur to play some games and meet SpongeBob.

Andrew had so much fun at the Monster Truck Show. He loved watching the trucks and he talks about it all of the time.

Andrew fell asleep at the end of the show after a full day of fun!

A Week of Firsts......

The boys are growing up so fast. Andrew is now a Sunbeam and he gave his first talk in Primary this past Sunday. I kept trying to get him to practice all week long, but he would not do it! On Sunday morining I was sure that he was going to refuse to give his talk, but Andrew really pulled through. He got up there and gave his talk like he had practiced all week long. We were so proud of him!

Dallin got his first hair cut this week. He went from this-

Christmas 2009

I cannot believe that it is already 2010! This year Christmas came and went so fast, but we had a great time and we were able to do a lot of fun things over the holdiay's. We held to our tradition and went to Salt Lake for the Mormon Tabernace Choir Christmas Concert with Mom, Marianne, Cade and his family.

We went to Lane and Adrianne's Christmas Party and made gingerbread houses. Andrew had so much fun and he was so proud of the house that he made with his Mom!

We spent Christmas in Cedar City this year with Mom, Dad, Shelly, Billy, Samantha and Malia. We have a wonderful family and it was great to be with them over the Holiday's.

Andrew was so much fun this year! He was so excited for Christmas all month long. He learned a lot of the Christmas songs at day care and he would sing them endlessly. He loved all of his presents, but his favorite was his new train.

Dallin had fun playing with the wrapping paper, and Andrew was more then happy to help him open all of his presents.

Curt and I also had a wonderful Christmas. We finally got us a hot tub which we have really enjoyed!

Malia got totally spoiled, but who wouldn't spoil this adorable girl? We sure love baby Mia!

On Christmas day Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Laura and all of her family came for Christmas dinner.

Grandpa had fun playing with Andrew's new helicopter.

After Christmas we went sledding with Grandma LeeAnn. There wasn't much snow, but enough for us to still go sledding. Andrew and Dallin both had a great time. Andrew learned it was more fun to bail out and go tumbling down the hill then to actually sled all the way down. He is such a boy!!!

We had Grandpa & Grandma Crofts, Candace, Chanc and his family over for dinner after Christmas. We opened our presents to eachother and had a great time seeing everyone.

We were able to go to Malia's Blessing in Cedar City this past weekend. Billy did a great job and gave her such a beautiful blessing. We are so thankful for this beautiful girl and the blessing she is to all of us. We love you Malia Elizabeth!!

Trick or Treat

Our Halloween was full of fun this year. We started out by going to see Thriller at Tuacahn. The boys had so much fun decorating our house and carving pumpkins.
The day before Halloween we went to Andrew & Dallins school party, our Ward party and then over to Lane & Adrianne's to decorate sugar cookies. On Halloween we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. The boys got tons of candy and had a great time dressing up!

Good Times

We went camping at Kershaw Ryan State Park in Nevada last weekend with Dad, Mom, Shelly & Malia. Our camp was close to a train track and Andrew had a great time watching the trains go by. We went to an old train station in Caliente and he was in heaven climbing all over the train.
Andrew had a great time looking for geocaches (he calls it treasure hunting).
We did some hiking while we were there and we saw some petroglyphs.We also went and explored an old ghost town. Curt had a great time finding things with his metal detector and exploring the old mine shafts.

We always have such a great time camping with our family.

Handsome Baby!

Dallin is growing up so fast- it is hard to believe that he is already 6 months old. He has been such a good baby and so much fun for our family. He is always laughing and smiling and is really just a happy boy! Andrew has enjoyed having a little brother and is always hugging and loving on Dallin. We are so glad we have our handsome baby Dallin!

We spent last weekend camping with our friends Lane and Adrianne and their family. Hal and Betty came down for the day and we went for a beautiful quad ride. After that Bob, Jess & Madelyn also came and we had a great dutch oven dinner.Andrew had so much fun playing in the dirt all weekend with his buddy Jared! This turned out to be a great weekend!

We love to do things outdoors and this past weekend we hiked up to Kanarraville Falls with Mom, Dad and Samantha. It was a beautiful hike and the kids did great!

A Day at the Farm

Andrew has been learning all about farms in preschool and last week his daycare was able to take a field trip to see a farm. Andrew had a lot of fun seeing all of the different animals. Before they came home they had a picinic lunch and they were able to eat some of the veggies that were grown on the farm. We have been so lucky to have such a great daycare for Andrew. He learns so much and has some really good friends there. Dallin is going to start going to daycare with Andrew on Monday. We are hoping that it goes good. Dallin is doing great lately. He smiles all of the time and is now starting to laugh quite a bit. We took him in for a check-up this week and he weighes 14 1/2 lbs and is 26 1/2 inches long! He has got such a sweet personality and is always watching what is going on around him. We sure love our boys!!!

My Sister Shelly and her husband Billy had their little girl! Malia Elizabeth Villareal was born on July 30, 2009 at 2:55 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 18 inches long. We are very excited to have her here! She is such a beautiful girl!!!

We had a great time in Panguitch over the 24th of July. We went to Panguitch and stayed at the Crofts cabin at Panguitch Lake. Andrew had fun playing with all of his cousins and especially Celia. He is still talking about her all of the time. We went in to Panguitch to watch the Parade and Andrew had so much fun! We also spent some time fishing at Panguitch Lake.

The next day we had a Henrie Family reunion at Grandpa Henrie's House. We had so much fun with all of our family and we are grateful for all of them!

Wyoming Vacation

For our vacation this year we took a trip to Wyoming to visit family. We first went to Jacskon Hole and spent a few days there. We took a couple of hikes while we were there. We went to Hidden Falls and also hiked around Phelps Lake with Jim and Amy.

After Jackson we drove to Buffalo to see Grandpa and Grandma Logan. We had an 80th Birthday Party for Grandma and all of our family was able to be there.
After we left Buffalo we headed to South Dakota. We had a great time seeing Mount Rushmore.

We traveled over 2500 miles and the boys did great! We had a great vacation!

Silly Boy!

We recently moved into a new house that is a little more than double the size of our old house. All of the room is great, but it is hard keeping track of Andrew. Yesterday I put Dallin to sleep on Andrew's bed and then I made Andrew a bed downstairs on the couch for him to lay down and watch cartoons. I went upstairs to do some cleaning and when I went back down to check on Andrew I couldn't find him anywhere. I ran through the house calling him, but there was no answer. I then started checking in closets, cupboards, and under beds to make sure he wasn't just hiding. After looking through the whole house panic set in and I called Curt to come help me. I looked outside and all around the house.........no Andrew. While I was waiting for Curt to come I started running through the house once more. Sure enough he was sound asleep under his sleeping bag in the back of his closet. All that was sticking out was his leg! By the time I took the picture he had pulled the sleeping bag off his head. I was so relieved to find him I cried and cried............Silly boy!!

One Sad Boy!!

Andrew had his tonsills and adenoids taken out this week. Before surgery he was so excited to go see the Doctor and get in the hospital bed. Little did he know what was in store for him! I tried to warn him, but I don't think he understood what was going on. It has been one hard week at the Crofts house! Andrew doesn't want to eat or drink anything, and we have to force him to take his medicine. Good thing that Grandma LeeAnn came and stayed to help take care of the boys. She helped a lot with Dallin and so we could spend more time with Andrew. Thanks Grandma! We sure hope Andrew gets feeling better soon!

Dallin came home on Sunday, April 13. My parents stayed with Andrew for the four days we were in the hospital and they were there to welcome Dallin home with us. We had Grandma Crofts, Grandma LeeAnn, and Grandpa Dennis all come stay with us for a few days and we are so thankful for them and all of their help. We have had a lot of visitors and we appreciate everyone's support. Andrew has been such a great brother and loves to help with baths and diaper changes. Anytime the baby cries Andrew is right there trying to put the binky in his mouth! Dallin is doing great and is such a joy to have around.

Andrew turned three years old today. The past few years have gone by so fast, and they have been so much fun! Andrew is such a blessing in our lives and we don't know what we ever did without him. He makes us laugh every day and we love him so much. Happy Birthday Andrew!!

Christmas

I am finally getting around to posting some pictures of our Christmas. It seems like we have been so busy this past month! Anyways, we had a really good Christmas this year. We had a Crofts Family Christmas Party at our house and Andrew had so much fun with all of his cousins.
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the Moser Family. Andrew got completely spoiled, and he loved all of his presents and being with his Family.
We also found time to go sledding and build gingerbread houses over the holiday.

Winter Fun

Last weekend we went to Salt Lake City with both the Moser Family and the Crofts Family. We were able to walk around Temple Square and go to the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert.

We went to a 3D movie at the planetarium and to the Discovery Gateway Museum with Grandma Crofts and a bunch of Andrew's cousins.

We had a lot of fun spending time with our families. On our way home Andrew got a chance to tell Santa what he wants for Christmas!!!!

Grandpa Logan

Andrew got a package in the mail a little over a week ago from his Great Grandpa and Grandma Logan. It had some Christmas presents in it (which we haven't opened yet)and this dog that his Great Aunt Laurie sent him. Andrew had so much fun rolling around and playing with the dog and the next day he kept asking me where his Grandma & Grandpa Logan were (they live in Buffalo Wyoming). We decided to call them and thank them for the presents. Laurie answered the phone and said that Grandpa was sick and had been life flighted to Billings, Montana. He is home now, but we just want him to know we are thinking of him, and hope he is feeling better. We wish we lived closer so we could give him a big hug! Merry Christmas-We love you Grandpa!

Thanksgiving

Well, I am finally getting around to posting Thanksgiving now that it is almost Christmas. It seems like December has gone by so fast and we have travelled a lot this month!! We went to Cottonwood Arizona and spent Thanksgiving with the Crofts Family. We had a great time and Andrew had so much fun with his Grandma Crofts and all of his cousins. I feel so bad because the ony time I took any pictures was on our hike to Tuzigoot and to see the Grand Canyon Railway (so not like me). We had a great dinner and a lot of fun with our family!! The next weekend Grandma LeeAnn and Grandpa Dennis watched Andrew while Curt and I went to Vegas for Curt's Birthday and to do some Christmas shopping. We had a great dinner and stayed at Caesars Palace, which was very nice. Happy Belated Birthday Curt!!

It's a Boy!!!

Last time we went to the Doctor they told us they were 75% sure we were having a boy. Our ultrasound today confirmed that we really are having another boy!! We are expecting him in April. We are so excited and Andrew can't wait to have a baby brother!!

Halloween!!

We had a great Halloween this year. The week before we went to Andrew's day care Halloween Party. We ate dinner, watched a magician, played at the park, and then went trunk-or-treating. Andrew had a lot of fun playing with his friends! We also went to our Ward Halloween Party. We had a chilli potluck and then went trunk-or-treating. Needless to say, even before Halloween Andrew had a ton of candy.

We had fun carving pumpkins this year. Andrew loved looking at the pumpkins, and calls all pumpkins, "pumpkin pie".

We had a family Halloween party at our house. We had dinner, played games, and then made carmel apples and decorated sugar cookies. Thanks everyone- it was a lot of fun!

On Halloween we went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Andrew had a lot of fun, but he mostly enjoyed being at home and handing out candy. At the end of the night he was quite proud of all of his candy!!

Disneyland

We took a family vacation to California last week. The first day we were there we went to the beach. Andrew had so much fun playing in the sand and the water. He also loved chasing the seagulls up and down the beach, which was so funny to watch. We spent a few days in Disneyland and Disney California Adventures. Andrew had so much fun meeting all of the Disney characters, going on all of the rides, and watching the parades and fireworks. We had so much fun watching Andrew's excitement over every little thing. He was pretty much running circles around us the entire time we were there! We had a lot of fun and it was great to spend time together. Andrew is already asking if we can to back to Disneyland and see Mickey's Castle!

Lake Powell

We spent last weekend in Lake Powell with Mom, Dad, Shelly,Samamtha and a few of Sam's friends. We had a great time out on the boat and on the wave runners! Andrew was in heaven playing in the sand and the water. We had a really great time!!

We spent the weekend camping at Baker Reservoir. Andrew had so much fun fishing on Baker and Pine Valley Reservoir. The fish we caught were really small, but we had a good time. Andrew didn't care about the size, he just enjoyed fishing with his new McQueen fishing pole! We had a lot of fun exploring the area and spending time with our family.

A Busy July!!

We have had such a busy month, and almost everywhere I went I seemed to have forgotten my camera!! We spent the 4th of July in Cedar City. Andrew had so much fun at the parade, carnival, and doing fireworks. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a picinic and Andrew went swimming. What FUN!

The second weekend in July we went to Pangutich to Candace (Curt's little sister) and Brent's wedding. It was so pretty and everything went really well.We spent the 24th of July in Panguitch. We went camping with Chanc and Danielle's family at Tropic Reservoir, and also went to my 10 year class reunion. Andrew had so much fun camping, riding the 4-wheeler, and hiking at Bryce Canyon. This last weekend in July Andrew, Mom, Shelly, and I went to Las Vegas and stayed at the Mandalay Bay. We went swimming at the Beach at Mandaly and Andrew LOVED it! We had fun touring the Strip and we also took Andrew to the Shark Reef Aquarium. As soon as we got home Andrew and I loaded up and headed to Panguitch to a family reunion. Curt had been in Salt Lake for meetings and so he met us in Panguitch. It was fun to see all of the family. Needless to say we are all travelled out and now looking forward to staying at home for a couple of weekends. We are lucky to live so close to our families and to be able to do all of these fun things. Now if any of you have pictures of any of this..........send them our way!!!!

One of Andrew's favorite things to do is to take a bath. It was so hot in St. George today that instead of going outside we went "swimming" in the bath tub!! Andrew had so much fun and I had a good time taking pictures of him. He is so much fun lately and he brings so much joy to our lives. I love how excited he gets over the simple things in life, like taking a bath!! I don't know what we ever did without our little guy!!

Cruising the Mexican Riviera!!

We just spent a week cruising the Mexican Riviera with Mom and Dad. It was a lot of fun and really relaxing. We had a great time on the ship enjoying the shows, eating all the good food, and really just enjoying the scenery!!

Our first stop was Cabo San Lucas. We took a boat out to see Lovers Beach and Lands End. It was really pretty and after that we spent some time exploring downtown Cabo.

Our next stop was in Matzalan. We took a tour which took us around the town to see some of the sights and then to watch a Mexican show and some cliff divers.

Our favorite stop was in Puerto Vallarta. We took a catamaran to a place called Las Calletas. It was so pretty there. We had lunch and then spent the afternoon snorkeling, kayaking, and hiking.

Andrew stayed with Uncle Billy, Aunt Shelly, and Samantha while we were gone. They did so many fun things with him and spoiled him rotten!! We missed him a lot, but it was nice to know he was well taken care of. Thanks Guys!

A Day at the Zoo

We took Andrew to Hogle Zoo this past weekend. He had so much fun looking at all of the animals, but his favorite thing of all was the choo-choo train!!

Camping!!

We went camping at the Sand Dunes over Memorial Day weekend.

Andrew had a great time riding the "wheeler", helping his Dad, and playing trucks.

We rode our quad all over and went on a hike to see some petroglyphs.

One of our favorite things to do is go camping. We recently got a trailer and we are so excited. It really makes camping much more fun!!! For Easter this year we went camping at Warm Springs in Nevada. Andrew had so much fun spending time with his family and playing outside!!!
